Set to take place from June 17 to 20, 2026, VivaTech will return to Porte de Versailles in Paris for its 10th edition. For 2026, the event will occupy Hall 7, featuring 30% more exhibition space and significant enhancements in infrastructure, including doubled seating capacity and the introduction of an Investors Office Hours program aimed at facilitating connections between entrepreneurs and prominent investors.
Highlighting Germany: The Country of the Year
Germany has been designated as the 2026 Country of the Year, marking a pivotal moment in VivaTech's history. The country will showcase the largest booth ever seen at the event, spanning 800 m², and will bring along a delegation of 200 startups alongside federal and regional partners. This year, Germany's prominence will also include participation from two federal ministers: Karsten Wildberger, focusing on digital transformation, and Dorothée Bar, representing research and technology. The strong presence of German tech underlines Europe's determination to maintain leadership in innovation amid increasing global fragmentation.

- AI & Productivity: A significant 89% of executives are inclined to trust AI in decision-making, according to the 2026 VivaTech Trust Barometer. Notable innovations to be featured include a real-time brain-machine interface from Unitree x HABS and a first-of-its-kind mass-market dual-vector exoskeleton from Sumbu.
- Cybersecurity & Defense: With cyberattacks reportedly up 75% in just one year, startups like Riot and Aikido are leading the charge in developing awareness programs and AI tools to secure digital landscapes.
- Greentech & Energy: Companies like Nyobolt are pushing the envelope with ultra-fast energy solutions, while Bienesis and Tenaka are addressing climate challenges with technology aimed at enhancing agricultural resilience and ocean regeneration.
- Deeptech: The sector's innovations include a “quantum chandelier” by IBM, expected to redefine computational capabilities in various fields. EOS X SPACE seeks to revolutionize space tourism while Xpanceo is set to introduce smart contact lenses using AI and extended reality.

The VivaTech Festival on June 20 aims to engage a younger demographic, specifically targeting 18-35-year-olds with fresh discussions on AI's impact on society, the creator economy, and career opportunities in tech. In a groundbreaking twist, the Champs-Élysées will transform into an open-air tech showcase on June 14, allowing the public to experience immersive demonstrations by startups and corporations alike.
